The singly-charged scalar singlet as the origin of neutrino masses

چکیده
A bstract We consider the generation of neutrino masses via a singly-charged scalar singlet. Under general assumptions we identify two distinct structures for mass matrix. This yields constraint antisymmetric Yukawa coupling singlet to left-handed lepton doublets, irrespective how breaking lepton-number conservation is achieved. The disfavours large hierarchies among couplings. study implications phenomenology lepton-flavour universality, measurements W -boson mass, flavour violation in charged-lepton sector and decays also discuss parameter space that can address Cabibbo Angle Anomaly.

متن کاملOrigin of Neutrino Masses and Mixings
A brief overview of the important theoretical issues in neutrino physics is presented and some of the current ideas for addressing them in the framework of the seesaw mechanism of neutrino masses are discussed. Among the topics discussed are ways to understand maximal mixing pattern among the three neutrino species, both unimaximal and bimaximal kinds. Constraints from baryogenesis on mixing pa...
متن کاملSinglet scalar dark matter in noncommutative space
In this paper, we examine the singlet scalar dark matter annihilation to becoming the Standard Model particles in the non-commutative space. In the recent decades, many candidates of dark matter have been offered, but our information about the nature of dark matter is still limited. There are such particle candidates as scalar matetr, fermion, boson, gauge boson, etc.; however, they have nei...
متن کاملAn origin for small neutrino masses in the NMSSM
We consider the Next to Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (NMSSM) which provides a natural solution to the so-called μ problem by introducing a new gauge-singlet superfield S. We realize that a new mechanism of neutrino mass suppression, based on the R-parity violating bilinear terms μiLiHu mixing neutrinos and higgsinos, arises within the NMSSM, offering thus an original solution to the ne...
